![]() ![]() Are You Working From Home?
Dear Ali,
If you're like millions of people, you might have started to work from home for the first time in your career when social distancing protocols were instituted.
You might love working from home, or you might be feeling extra pressure, due to your kids being home from school, or financial and health situations.
Whatever your work from home situation is, I wanted to reach out and share a couple of tips that have been helping to make this time more productive, peaceful, and as close to normal as possible. 1. Keep your habits. If you normally would wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, and drink a cup of coffee before leaving for work, stick to that schedule. This will help you switch to "work" mode.
2. Have a dedicated workspace. Try to have a dedicated workspace in your home–whether that be a desk, home office, or the dining room table, decide on one place that you will focus on your work.
3. Turn off work for the day. It can be especially tough to do when working from home, but it is critical to your mental health and productivity to have a set time that you clock out for the night. If you or your family need anything at all, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here for you!
Sincerely, ![]()
